We’ve held over 75,000 meetings with participants from six continents (we’re still waiting on Antarctica, but we’ve got our fingers crossed for a friendly penguin researcher to join!). Our platform has helped more than 1,200,000 learners break the barrier of speaking English fluently — whether for work, travel, or simply chatting with friends.

One of our earliest participants, John, became a motivational speaker, sharing his journey of going from “terrified of small talk” to delivering a TED Talk viewed by millions. Anna, who joined to improve her English for travel, now runs an international food blog that features recipes she’s learned from friends in our group.

We’ve celebrated so many milestones. Lucas met his fiancée in one of our sessions and later proposed to her during a group call. Maria, a former beginner, became a mentor to others, leading discussions about everything from movies to philosophy. And let’s not forget Nina, whose quirky vocabulary lessons (involving sock puppets!) turned into a viral YouTube channel with over a million subscribers.

Our community speaks more than just English — we speak friendship, collaboration, and shared growth. Our annual “Global Chat Fest” (held virtually, of course) is a highlight for participants worldwide, filled with laughter, language games, and live conversations with native speakers and inspiring guests.

Hi, I’m Marcin, and I’m from Poland. For most of my life, I believed I wasn’t good at learning English. I didn’t use it at work and only studied it for a few years in school, a long time ago. Back then, I focused on German and thought one foreign language was enough.

Years later, I realized how much of the internet and global communication revolves around English. I could understand written English well — movies, tutorials, manuals — but speaking was a different story. I’d freeze, forget words, and constantly second-guess my grammar. It felt like I was stuck at the intermediate level forever.

I tried everything — courses, apps, grammar drills — but progress was slow. I thought maybe learning English just wasn’t for me. That changed in 2023 when I joined a small group of people facing the same struggles. Together, we practiced speaking daily in a supportive, relaxed environment. For the first time, I stopped worrying about being perfect and focused on communicating.

During this journey, I met Karin, and we quickly discovered we shared similar challenges and goals. Together, we had an idea: to create our own independent place to practice speaking English.

This experience inspired me to create a space for others like us — intermediate learners who want to speak confidently without fear of mistakes. Our meetings are about breaking barriers, connecting with people, and discovering the joy of real conversations in English.
